Printing Labels

Article summary

Printing labels is easy once your formats are set up.
Here's how:

  1. Click Contact on the Navigation bar/menu

  2. Click the Labels sub menu.

  3. On the People tab, select the list of People you wish to print labels for, e.g the Christmas newsletter group.

  4. Review the list and select one per household or organisation if appropriate.

  5. Go to the Content tab.

  6. You may have a Template set up already, just click on the template drop down and select. The format will be set from the Saved Template, update if needed.

  7. Alternatively, to set up a new Template click in the box next to Template Name, type in a name and click Save. Be sure to also select the correct label format.

  8. Start entering your Label Content using the personalisations on the right hand side to help you e.g. first name, last name or combined names and address. The selected field will be inserted left of the cursor (See example below). Or type in your own wording and or image.

  1. If using sheets of sticky labels select where on the sheet you want the First label printing to start.

  2. Go to the Generate Tab.

  3. Choose the Sort Order for the labels.

  4. Click the Test button and then click Show generated labels to review the first page layout on screen. If the layout is not quite right you may need to check your formats, or names may be too long to fit the label and need to be changed.

  5. When you're happy with the layout, click the Create for All button, click Show generated labels and print the labels.
