A Part Paid date is treated like a paid date when you stop a pledge: it stays on the schedule with its payments, and still counts in Paid. What happens to the rest of the date depends on whether you cancel or delete the pledge.
| Cancel Pledge | Delete Pledge with Remove unprocessed records only (planned and failed) | |
|---|---|---|
| The pledge afterwards | Closed, once its last date has passed | Cancelled, straight away |
| The rest of a Part Paid date | Still offered in the Recurring Pledges panel, so you can still match a payment to it | Not offered anywhere. The rest of the date is not collected |
| Pledge payment performance and Aged Receivables | Not counted once the pledge is closed | Not counted |
Use Cancel Pledge if the donor may still pay the rest of the date. Use Delete Pledge if you want to write it off.
Either way, the pledge still shows in the person's Pledges list and on the Recurring Income Planned tab.
