What happens to the rest of the date depends on whether you cancel or delete the pledge. | | **Cancel Pledge** | **Delete Pledge** with **Remove unprocessed records only (planned and failed)** | | --- | --- | --- | | The pledge afterwards | Closed, once its last date has passed | Cancelled, straight away | | The rest of a **Part Paid** date | Still offered in the **Recurring Pledges** panel, so you can still match a payment to it | Not offered anywhere. The rest of the date is not collected | | **Pledge payment performance** and **Aged Receivables** | Not counted once the pledge is closed | Not counted | Use **Cancel Pledge** if the donor may still pay the rest of the date. Use **Delete Pledge** if you want to write it off. Either way, the pledge still shows in the person's **Pledges** list and on the Recurring Income **Planned** tab.
