Why CASC Status Matters
A key eligibility factor for GASDS is whether the organisation is registered as a CASC (Community Amateur Sports Club). CASCs are not permitted to use the Community Buildings method.
infoodle must therefore know whether your organisation is a CASC to ensure the correct claiming options are available.
Setting CASC Status in infoodle
Navigate to:
Finance > Gift Aid > Settings > Charitable Organisation
You will see the option:
Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC): Yes / No
Once set, this value should remain stable. Changing it affects eligibility and should therefore trigger a warning.
