# Combining Receipts

In the **Generate Receipts** screen filter infoodle gives you the option of listing transactions by their **When to issue receipt** criteria. Either you can issue a combined receipt for a period e.g year end or you can produce a once off receipt. This **When to receipt** criteria is set when you add a transaction.

A combined receipt is a combination of transactions, for a time period, receipted in one receipt which can either list each individual transaction or give a summary of transactions for that time period.
