# Configuring the Footer Navigation

The footer navigation bar is a consistent link to a few functions to provide easier access because the navigation bar appears on most screens. You are able to control which functions are available either to users who are logged in or not (public).

Clicking **Administration** - **Phone App** - **Footer Navigation Bar**

This screen shows the list of available features and which type of user it should be available.

NB: If you want the footer bar to be used, you must select at least 2 of them. You could therefore have no footer bar for public users, and 2 or more icons for logged in users, or visa-versa, which ever suits your purposes.

An example setup would be **Public users** : Tags, Login.

- The tags shown are only going to be those who are marked as Public in the [tag setup](/v1/docs/creating-new-tag-headers).

**Logged in users** : Tags, To Do, Directory
