An important reason for approving forms is to reduce duplication. The screens help you identify if the contact is already known to infoodle and therefore allows you to connect this new data to that contact, a new pledge for instance.
Its common for people filling in their forms to be imprecise or to spell their name slightly differently. Its also possible for users to select the wrong contact to connect the form data to. For these reasons we have added a final confirmation screen to ensure you are comfortable with the changes that are being made - and give you a final chance to make changes.
This applies to the contact data only.
After clicking 'Approve' to confirm all the options you have chosen for this form entry, infoodle checks to see if the contact data on the form is different from the contact detail on the records that will be updated.
In this example the first name, last name, email address and cell phone will be changed.
Click on the 'Update' toggle confirm that change - or 'Update all'.
You can either add or update specific email addresses or phone numbers also by selecting the appropriate option.

Click 'Approve & Update contact details' to confirm these changes and complete the approval process.
Note that if this screen does not appear, the form will not be making any changes to the relevant fields.
Only those fields that will change are shown on this screen.
