# Deleting a Household

Infoodle discourages deleting people from the system, as it will cause their history to be deleted as well. To remove a Household/Organisation, you have two options.

1. Archive each person in the household/organisation. When [Archiving a Person](https://help.infoodle.com/help/people/archiving-person) you have the option to **Apply to the whole household**.
2. Move the people in the household/organisation to a different or new household. See [Editing an Address](https://help.infoodle.com/help/people/adding-or-changing-address) for more information.
