# Deleting a Receipt or Statement Template

1. Hover over **Finance** in the menu on the left
2. Then click on **Receipts**
3. Then click on **Maintain templates**
4. Click on the **Action** drop down on the right of which template you want to delete, and click **delete**
5. A pop-up will appear in your browser to double check that you do want to delete this template
6. Click **Ok** and it will be deleted

These steps are the same for Statement Templates and Receipt Templates.

Deleting a common shared template will delete it for all users including yourself
