# Deleting a Role

It is good from time-to-time to check if you have any Roles that are not needed any longer, and remove this. This keeps your system easier to manage, and prevents future confusion.

          Warning!

          

Be aware that if you delete a Role that is still assigned to users, these users will no longer be able to log in and access infoodle until you assign them a new Permission Role.

### Deleting a Role

1. Select **Administration** from the Navigation Menu
2. Click on **Roles**
3. Click on **Edit** to the right of the role you wish to delete
4. (recommended) Select **Members** and see who is using this role you are about to delete. Click **Back**
5. Scroll down to the bottom on the page and select **Delete**
