# Deleting an Asset

Equipment can become obsolete, lost or broken. Assets can have a shelf life and therefore may need to be deleted from infoodle from time to time. To delete an Asset:

1. Click **Assets** on the Navigation bar/Menu and a list of your Assets will appear.
2. Click **View** next to the one you want to delete. (If you have a lot of assets you can use the search facility to find the asset you want to edit or simply scroll down the page)
3. Click **Edit** and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
4. Click **Delete**.
5. Infoodle prompts you with "are you sure you want to delete this asset?" Click **OK**.
