# Editing a Person

## Editing a Person

Occasionally details recorded for a person need to be changed or updated. Here's how to make those changes:

1. Select the person that needs to be edited. Click the **Edit** button on the person's panel.

1. Make the necessary changes to the person's details.
2. Select **Save** when finished.

### Editing the Main Profile Page

When you click the **Edit** button from the Main Profile page of a person, you are able to update the Name fields and contact information, as well as the Person Custom fields under the **Personal info** section of the profile.

The list of fields is displayed on the Right Hand Side of the page as shown below. ### Editing Fields on a Profile Tab
