Tasks in this context implies any administrative work to be done in infoodle e.g. To-Dos, Rosters, Event Organisers and Library, and more. When a group has Tasks ticked it can be selected from a drop down list of groups for To-Do's, Rosters or Event Organisers.
To enable the group for tasks when adding or editing a group, select Can have tasks assigned. in the Group Usage section.
Save.

Note
You cannot assign a group to a To-Do, Roster or an Event Organiser or Library, that does not have Tasks seelected.
