# Mailchimp Setup

**infoodle has the ability to:**

1. Use mailchimp templates when emailing.
2. View and update the lists and statistics in infoodle.

3. To receive subscribe, unsubscribe and change requests from mailchimp.

4. To send changes to mailchimp then use an infoodle workflow

#### You will need to set up an account with Mailchimp first:

1. Create and login to your account at **[mailchimp.com](https://mailchimp.com/){target="_blank"}**
2. Once you have logged in to MailChimp you are able to **[get your API](https://mailchimp.com/help/about-api-keys/#Finding-or-generating-your-API-key){target="_blank"}**
3. In infoodle go to **Administration > System > Mailchimp** and paste your API from Mailchimp into the box as in the screenshot above.
4. Click Save.

You can now connect infoodle and Mailchimp.
