# Processes in infoodle that Trigger Zapier

A trigger is something that happens in infoodle which Zapier can 'listen' to and as a result will start some automation that you have setup in Zapier (a Zap).

Once Zapier has received a trigger then you will need to do something with that data, e.g. ask infoodle for more data about the item or add this information to another product.
