# Recurring Income

You can find this by going to **Finance > Recurring Income**. It opens on the **Planned** tab, which lists the pledges and recurring payments people have set up. A pledge whose only payments are part payments is listed here too.

If a form entry has not been approved and assigned to a contact, this screen shows "Not assigned to a contact" for the plan. Click the **Form** link next to it, for example **Form 1234**, to open the form approval page.

One-off payments are not shown by default. Tick **Include one off items ?** to include them.

### Plan details

Click the list icon in the **Details** column, or the plan's created date, to see its payment dates, amounts and statuses.

Plan details show both **Date passed** and **Planned** dates as **Planned**, and a matched date as **Paid**. **Part Paid**, **Scheduled** and **Failed** read the same as on the schedule.

- **Payments made** and **Total paid:** include part payments. **Payments made** counts every date that has money on it, and **Total paid** adds up the money applied. For example, a 40.00 pledge with one date paid in full and two dates part paid by 25.00 and 15.00 shows **Payments made** 3 and **Total paid** $80.00.
- **Take payment now:** charges the full amount of that date to the person's card or bank account straight away, through the payment gateway. Use it when a payment was missed, for example because a card expired. It is offered only on pledges paid through a payment gateway, and not on **Paid** or **Part Paid** dates, or on a **Scheduled** date that has already been sent to the payment gateway.

**Take payment now** is also shown on dates that are still to come. Clicking it on one of those charges the donor early, for the full amount of the date.

### Next payments tab

Lists the next payment due for each person. For a pledge paid through a payment gateway you can also take a payment from here, the same as in plan details.

### History tab

Lists every date with its amount. A pledge with no payment gateway shows **Pledge** for each date. A pledge paid through a payment gateway shows the date's status, such as **Planned**, **Part Paid**, **Paid** or **Failed**.

To see the status of a date on a pledge with no payment gateway, use the schedule or plan details.
