Text & Phone Settings - options

  1. Country prefix - Enter your country code. i.e. for New Zealand 64, for USA 1, for UK 44
  2. Suggested Phone Formats - allows you to create a list of formats shown as options when the user enters a phone number.
Note:

Include format options that will accommodate the longest number you anticipate adding to infoodle. Users should select the opton that's appropriate for the number - numbers that are longer than the selected format option will be shortened to fit the format selected.

  1. Charge per text - used to calculate a users available budget
  2. Text Gateway provider - Select your preferred gateway provider from the dropdown list. Infoodle uses a NZ based gateway to send its messages. We manage the account for you and send you a bill just for the messages you send at the end of each month.
  3. Text Sending Embargo - Places a restriction on when your infoodle can send text messages. If any messages are queued to send during the embargoed period, they will be sent once the end time has passed.
  4. Click Save.
Note:

These are the text gateway providers that infoodle integrates with:

  • SMS Global,
  • Twillio, and
  • Text Anywhere.

Text Anywhere is mainly for UK customers and is push only, not two way texts. For more information on Text Anywhere, see: Text Anywhere Settings page).
