What is a Workflow?

A workflow is a series of automated actions. For example, when a new person is added to the database they will automatically be added to the new contact group and sent a welcome email. Another example could be when a person dies, the date field is set, and a follow up task is triggered for the pastoral care team to visit the spouse on the 1st anniversary. A workflow consists of:
