It's easy to create a meeting or appointment with someone in infoodle.
Search for the contact you want to create the appointment for and display their profile.
If the Appointment tab isn't displayed select the settings 'gearwheel' icon and select the Appointment 'star' icon. This will ensure the Appointments tab is displayed regardless of the profile you're viewing:

Creating an Appointment
- select the Appointment tab. The Appointment window will be displayed:

- If there are existing appointments, select the Add button
- If you created the appointment or are a member of the group assigned to the appointment, you can edit or delete an existing appointment.

- Add the information relating to your appointment.
- Purpose - the title of this meeting or appointment. This is also used on the reminder messages.
- Location - enter the location where you will meet. Note that this is manually entered and currently does not use the locations added elsewhere in infoodle (FInance and Events).
- Date - enter the date of the appointment.
- All day and Time - if the appointment will take the whole day (midnight to midnight) select the All All checkbox, otherwise enter the start and end time for this appointment. These settings are used when adding this appointment to your Events calendar (if Events is being used).
- Visible to a Group - if you want a group of other people to be able to see this appointment then select the group name in the Visible to a Group drop down box. You need to be a full member or administrator to be able to see it.
- Additional information - include any details about the appointment. This text is included in the body of the appointment reminder. If you have entered this information previously, click 'Recent' to show a list of the 10 unique most recent items which you can click to replace the text.
- Reminders - add any reminders you require.
- Click Save.
You can edit and delete appointments that you have created but only view appointments people have created with you or if you are in a group who can see it.
If you have the Events package you can find appointments using the Event - Search function. For information on this see: Searching for an Event
