Including your own Custom Fields and Groups

Custom Fields

If you have fields of information that you wish to import which do not have an existing field in the database, then these fields should be created first before submitting the Data Files.
Creation of custom fields can be done via Administration > Custom Fields
The Column headers in the Data File should Match the Name of the Custom Field that they relate to.

See About Custom Fields for more information

Groups

If you wish to add People to Groups via import, then the Groups can be created before import the Data Files, or created during the import process.
An Example is adding a "Newsletter" Group which will be used to send our emailed or posted newsletters.

Creation of Groups and Subgroups is done via the Groups section of infoodle.

See About Groups for more information on Groups
See Group Or List Data for information on Importing Group data
