Additional Email Settings

These settings can be applied to add addional features or functions.

  1. Attachment - select Add to add an attachment to the email and select either Upload a file or Use stored attachments to attach the required file. Multiple files can be attached, with each uploaded file having the Save to store option for storing the file in the database for later use, eg registration forms.

    Select Done when complete.

  2. Signature - select No Signature Selected to view the list of available signatures and to select the required option.

  1. Unsubscribe - select Enable to attach an Unsubscribe option to the email.

  1. Mail type - select the displayed button, eg General Communications, and select the type of classification that applies to this email.

  1. Visibility - select this option to set who will have visibility of the history entry once the email is sent.

  1. Advanced - selecting this option provides four additional options:

6.1. Preview Text - (also known as a Snippet or Preheader Text) is a brief description of what's in your email, and shown as a preview in the inbox of most major email clients next to the subject line.

6.2. Response Tracking Campaign - if the Finance package is active and a campaign has been set up, this option provides list of active campaigns that this email could be associated with.

6.3. Design - if templates have been previously created, click the button, in this case, Newsletter, and select from the options displayed.

6.4 Preview - displays the selected template with the text and selections previously made.
