Introduction to Reports
infoodle allows you to search, display and use information relating to various aspects of your organisation. However, Reports produce information with a large scale design in mind, and can be fine tuned to show just the information you're looking for.
When creating the report parameters, you need to consider who are you interested in, from where you want to obtain the data (for example, a group), how you might group that data together, and what information you want to display.
For new reports - you will be listing all (active) contacts. Typically you will want to narrow that list down. You do this by adding criteria.
To create a new report
- Identify the area of the report you want
- Add criteria to reduce the list to what you want
- Identify whether you want to output by individual or household (or other)
- Select the fields you want to show on the report
- Generate the results on the screen or export the results, or use them to as a seed list for other functions such as adding to a group.
You can then save the report if you wish.
