Delete an approval
- Open the person's Gift Aid tab.
- On the approval you want to remove, click Action.
- Click Delete.
Delete removes the approval the moment you click it. There is no confirmation step.
It also removes the note on the approval and detaches any declaration file you uploaded to it, so that file is no longer reachable from the Gift Aid tab. Download the file first if it is your only copy of the donor's declaration.
Donations that were only claimable through that approval drop out of future claims.
If you delete one by mistake, add it again with the same dates. infoodle matches approvals to donations by date every time it builds a claim, so the donations become claimable again. The replacement is a new record though, so re-type the note and upload the declaration file again.
