Deleting a Form

Prev Next

Before you delete a form, consider whether setting it to Not Active is enough. Not Active hides the form from public view and stops it accepting submissions, but keeps it (and all its entries) safely in infoodle. Deleting a form is permanent.

Warning: Deleting a form also deletes all of its entries. This cannot be undone.

How to delete a form

  1. Go to Forms in the navigation menu.
  2. Find the form and click Edit from the menu.

4. In the form editor, click the red Delete form button in the top-right toolbar.

5. Confirm when prompted.

The form is removed and will no longer appear in your forms list.

A safer alternative — set it to Not Active

If you might need the form or its entries again:

  1. Open the form for editing.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.

  1. Under When is this form available?, change the Status to Not Active.

  1. Click Save form.

  1. The form disappears from public view and stops accepting submissions, but all entries are preserved. You can reactivate it at any time by setting the status back to Active.
