How to Edit a Custom Field

The instructions below are the same for Person, Household, and Group Custom Fields.

  1. Click on the administration cog
  2. Then click on Custom Fields
  3. Click on Manage Fields under the area you are wanting to edit the custom field from
  4. Then click Edit next to the field you want to edit
  5. Go through the options (see details on these fields on the how to add a custom field page)
  6. Finally click Save

Once a field has been created and has data stored in it, the type of field can no longer be changed.

How to Delete a Custom Field

The instructions below are the same for Person, Household, and Group Custom Fields.

  1. Click on the administration cog
  2. Then click on Custom Fields
  3. Click on Manage Fields under the area you are wanting to edit the custom field from
  4. Then click Delete next to the field you want to edit
  5. Finally click Ok on the pop up box
