Text messages

We have added the ability to set a period of time when you do not want texts to be sent out. For instance you can choose to not have messages sent from 8pm through to 8am. Any messages that are set to be sent during the embargoed period will be sent once the embargo is lifted each day. See here for more information.

Workflow - notes

If you configure a workflow and wish to add a note, or ask the user for a note during the process - this has is now available for all users. Previously your role had to include access to notes to be able to do this, which is not always what was desired.

Login

As part of our redesign we have updated the Login/Password reset/2 Factor screens.

Email - Unsubscribe

• The method for email recipients to unsubscribe has been improved. It now requires confirmation on the screen they see, prioviously a global unsubscribe happened on the first click from the email.
• A new report has been added to the reports screen for those with a role which allows a view of all contacts, so they can list those who have unsubscribed and why

Forms

When operating infoodle using clusters, you can now create a base form - and then create new forms which inherit from the base form. There are some aspects that are locked such as the design and which fields to include, but you are able to override the base form field configurations. This is helpful when you have a single form that is used by different groups and you need to get the separation. e.g. in a cluster environment each cluster could use the same form to accept donations - with adjustments to campaigns or account codes, and only people in the cluster to review/approve the form.

Reports

"Address phone" has been added as a new criteria to reports which allows you to search on the phone associated with the household/organisation

Pledges

When adding or editing a plege the information provided makes it clearer when a payment will be automatically taken or not.

Report on Pledges

We have added some new criteria to assist in extracting specific pledges
Pledge date amount : Selects a contact using the specific amount of an individual payment that was pledged
Pledge total : Selects a contact using the total amount pledged for a specific pledge.
Pledge total (All pledges) : Selects a contact using the total of all their pledges

Receipts

A new sort order has been added to enable you to put all the organisations together. This is helpful when you use different receipt templates depending on the type of contact you are sending it to.

Gift Aid

For those organisations who use Groups to identify sections of their donor community and need the Gift aid received back from HMRC to be split between the individual groups - there is a new report 'Split Report' which is available from the Claims screen. There are criteria that is needed to enable this, specifically a person can only be in 1 group, we suggest placing these donor groups in a group type so you can filter them for this purpose.

We've reworked alot of our financial activity screens and reports to improve performance.

Email

We've added a 'save to draft' button and improved error handling on drafts.

Library Kiosk

• The code of the item is now shown on all kiosk screens
• The search options have been extended

Statements

We have added an additional filter for individuals or organisations. This can be helpful if you wish to send different statements or use different templates for these different types of contacts.

Pledges

From a persons pledge screen - in the actions menu for a specific pledge - you now have the option to move a pledge (and its associated transactions) to a different user. This is helpful when a pledge has been assigned to the wrong contact.

Changing Parent Group Permissions

A contact can be in one or many groups and sub-groups. The permission the contact has in each group can be different. It can be useful to ensure changes in the child group are applied to the parent group too. We have now added an option for this when editing the group permissions. More help available here

Designer email

You can now include Anchor links in an email which are broadly (though not completely) support across email clients. These allow you to create a link in your email to jump to content within the email. This helps target your responses. Note that these clicks are not tracked.

Birthday widget

We have included the option to show the birthdays for a specific group

Report

We have included a new feature to assist with tracking activity with your contacts:
Criteria : "Email - Last Opened". This allows you to filter people who have not opened emails for a while based on the date
Select fields: "Lastest email open". This allows you to see the date this contact last opened an email

infoodle App

We have released an update to the app (v6.0.22) which contains some enhancements

Feature updates

• Events - Questions. If you are mentioned in the Location or a Question configuration which is answered when setting up an event then there is a new 'Questions' link when viewing an event.

User interface changes

• Events - Attendance. This now has its own icon at the bottom of the screen rather than included as a tile in the body of the event
• Events - Addresses. If your event has a location of a zoom link, then infoodle provides a clickable link to launch zoom. If the address is too short then no map is displayed
• Home screen tiles - are now all sized the same and have standard rounded corners
• Events week to view - show the colour coding of each event
• Icons and branding now reflects new branding

Bug Fix

• Directory - search by name now able to use spaces

Form List page

We've adjusted the process of loading these lists to improve their performance.

Form Builder Changes

We have upgraded the form builder in a number of ways, primarily you can now include organisation/household names and addresses in repeating blocks. This allows you to include the creation of organisations that are linked to others on the same form. You can also make repeats optional - Help information here

Form Approval Changes

There are a number of new options available for approving form entries. These include adding new people to existing organisations/households, creating additional households linked to other households. And clarifying the update process and layout. Help information here.

Lookup Lists

The management of lookups and their lists have been moved to their own menu items. This resolves a number of user experience issues. - Help information here

Lookup values - sorted

All lookups can now be sorted to the order you want. - Help information here

Profile - Contact Confirmation

This feature enables you to track the permissions people may have given you in regards to how they are prepared to be contacted. This can be reported on and imported as needed - Help information here

Account code - More defaults

When reconciling transactions infoodle provided a couple of defaults, we've extended these defaults to include receipting defaults as well. Select an account code, then infoodle can automatically set the Receipt method (no receipt, one off, combined) and the Receipt to (individual, household/organisation).

Mailchimp Templates

Mailchimp has finally closed down an old feature of their API which allowed us to import templates that were built with their old design engine. They now only allow templates built using the Campaign feature. Old templates can be imported to the new campaign within Mailchimp. Now maybe a good time to check out the infoodle email designer!

Notes Report

We have added 2 changes related to the most recent notes entered against a contact:
a) New Criteria: "Months since last note". How many months since the last note was entered. NB. The contact must have had some note added to their profile for this to work.
b) New Field: "Latest Note". When selecting fields you can show the latest note for a client.

2 Factor Authentication

The day has arrived - as announced - that we are enforcing 2 factor authentication. This is a neccessary change to ensure we do all we can do assist you in being compliant and ensuring your data is kept safe. This also assists infoodle to be compliant with regulartory frameworks in different parts of the world. Thank you for working through this change and we hope the minor irritation during login provides with the comfort of greater security.

Scheduled Reports

You can now schedule Attendance reports. This way you can get daily, weekly or monthly updated reports sent to your inbox.

Import tool for Contacts, Notes and Events

We're pleased to announce that our import tool is now available. This provides you with the ability to add and update much of the data you have in infoodle such as your contacts and notes.

This feature is enabled via a new role setting - so your administrator will be the one to ask about this.

Sending receipts by email

When you select to send a receipt by email, you are now shown the email settings pulled from the template you choose. You can review and edit these settings. Note they are not saved, only used for the current send.
