A full member or administrator can:

- Access their profile pages
- If directory settings are selected, then they will only see visible contact details.
- As the Administrator of a group, the user can:

- Remove people
- Edit the groups permissions
- Roster the group (needs extra permissions to use rosters)
- Add events to the group page for attendance
- A full member of a group can mark attendance
- Admin of the group must add the event to the group page first
See more on Group Permissions for further details on the level of access these permissions grant
Contacting People via Email
Contact people grants access to the communications functions of infoodle. You can choose what communication tools someone may use for communicating with your contacts.
E.g. if contact people by email is selected, they will have access to the History tab on profiles they can view, and view any emails they have sent (or been given permission to view).
You may want to give other people the permission to see emails others have sent to allow the user to see an email other people have sent when they are not part of the group or household.
See more on Email Contact for information on sending emails.
Searching and Viewing Events
This permission allows the user to see the events they are part of if:
- The event is a public event and visible on all calendars, or,
- The user is being rostered for an event, or,
- The user is part of a group that has been linked to an event as an organiser, attendee, roster related, or,
- The event is set to ‘visible on the internet’
For more information see Adding an Event.
If you do not have the Events Package, you will not see the events permissions
Home Page Birthday Widget
This allows the user to add a widget to their own homepage or dashboard. This depends on the packages you have purchased and the permissions the user has.
E.g. the user can add the birthday widget and see the people they are connected to who have a birthday within the next week.
For more information, see Adding a Widget
Adding a new Sub Group
This permission is independent of the add new primary groups permission. A user can have either one, the other, or both. However, a primary group needs to exist before sub group can be added to it.
Running Reports
In order for a user to have access to any of the reporting features, they need to be given this permission.
For more information, see Creating a Report
