How do I find people who have made a donation over a certain amount?

You may wish to search for all the people who have given a single donation of over a certain amount in a single transaction (regardless of any other donations they have made) so that you can either manage or contact them easily. Let's see how to do this:

1. Select Reports.
2. Within Report areas select People.
3. Click Add finance criteria.
4. Select the criteria Transaction (Finance amount) value.
5. Choose the one of the amount options e.g. Set the amount to greater than and enter the amount $1000.

7. Click on the Select fields tab and select the fields you wish to view about the people.
8. Click on the Generate results tab.
9. Click Show to see the results on the screen.
10. If you want to export the results for processing in a spreadsheet, select the Excel spreadsheet Download button.

Adding the result contacts to a Group

If you wish to add the contacts included in the results, to an existing or new Group for further use (for example, as a destination for sending emails):

1. Click Choose a group to add the results to a new or existing group:
   1. Use an existing group - select the dropdown list and select the desired group, or
   2. Create a new group - if you want to create a new group to add the results contacts to, select Create a new Group and enter a name for the group.
2. Group Permissions - set the group permission to apply to all of the result contacts
3. Select Save to finish.
