Copying a Form

Prev Next

Duplicating a form is useful when you want to create a similar form without rebuilding it from scratch — for example, reusing a registration form for a new event, or making a variation of an existing form.

How to duplicate a form

  1. Go to the Forms list.
  2. Click the menu on the right of the form you want to copy.
  3. Choose Duplicate.

The form editor opens with all the original form's fields and settings pre-loaded, ready for you to customise.

The form name is carried over from the original. Rename it straight away in the Form Name field at the top so you don't confuse the two.

What gets copied

Everything from the original form is copied across:

  • All fields and their settings
  • Form layout and sections
  • Form Settings (availability dates, reCAPTCHA, login required, etc.)
  • Email Response configuration
  • Approval settings

Note: The copy starts as a brand-new unpublished form with no entries and no version history. It is completely independent of the original — changes to one will not affect the other.

Saving the copy

Once you've made your changes, click Save copy to save the new form, or Publish to save and make it live immediately.
