Adding Payment Gateways to infoodle

Before you start, ensure you have the connection details for your chosen supplier.

To add gateway details follow these steps:

1. Navigate to either:

• Administration > System > Payment methods
• Finance > Transaction processing > Banking > Payment Methods

If you select Payment Methods from within Finance, the initial display will show the Payment Methods and the option of displaying which forms they are used on. To add or edit a Payment Method, select the Configure button. From here you will be taken to the Administration > Payment Methods page.

2. Select Add.

3. Select the Payment type option you wish to set up.

Integrating a payment gateway

Select the payment method and enter the required details. The information required depends on the payment provider you have chosen. Infoodle asks the questions required by each provider to complete a transaction.

In each case you are able to request or gain access to a test site. With this, you can test out the system and make sure it works ok for you without having to take money off your credit card.

infoodle is able to support both test (sometimes called 'sandbox') and live (sometimes called 'production') sites.

Using your payment method(s)

Payment methods are made available to your donors on infoodle forms.

Include the Pay/Donate method onto that form. Once added, select the payment method(s) you want to be visible to form user.

Form usage

You can view the usage of your payment gateway, and view all payments that have been processed through forms which use your chosen method of payment. For information about this see Form Usage.
