Reports, Forms & Workflow Permissions

There are a few permissions that do not fall under one particular category, but are available to all sites regardless of their packages.

These are permissions regarding reports, forms and workflows.

Run reports

In order for a user to have access to any of the reporting features, they need to be given this permission.

Forms

Need forms menu item

In order for a user to be able to create forms and /or process forms they need to have this permission plus one other. (They can also have both).

Create and manage form entries

To be able to create or add forms, edit forms and publish forms the user needs to have this permission.

The user can also give permission to a another person or group to Process Entries of Forms once these have been completed and returned; this is done via form Settings. The user will also be able to process Form Entries

Process responses of forms given permission to

This will give the User access to the forms menu item and they will be able to see forms that they have permission for, and be able to Process Entries of these Forms once responses have been received.

They will only see forms that they have been given permission to process entries for, and forms that have not been set with a specified person or group for processing entries.

Workflow

A workflow allows some automation to your processes. i.e each time a new contact is added to infoodle, the workflow triggers an action to add the contact to the "New contacts" group, then send a welcome email. etc.

Access workflow administration

In order for a user to be able to create workflow processes they need to have this permission. This person will be able to access the administration area where the workflow set up is located. But will only have workflow visible.
